Terms of Use

These Terms of use (“Terms”) govern the use of the NevaSolo mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

The Services are operated by Trinity Financial Management Pty Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Services.

1. About NevaSolo

NevaSolo is an event-based personal safety and coordination platform designed to help users share safety sessions, incident information, and location updates with selected trusted contacts or authorised participants.

The platform enables users to initiate safety sessions, create incident alerts, and share information with selected individuals for coordination and awareness.

NevaSolo is not a monitoring or surveillance service and does not continuously track users outside of active sessions initiated by the user.

2. Emergency services disclaimer

NevaSolo is not an emergency service and does not replace police, ambulance, fire, or other emergency services.

Users should contact their local emergency services immediately where urgent assistance is required.

The Services are intended to support communication and coordination between users and individuals they trust.

3. Eligibility and accounts

To use the Services, users must create an account and provide accurate and current information.

Users are responsible for:

  • maintaining the security of their login credentials
  • ensuring their account information remains accurate
  • controlling access to their device and account

Accounts currently use email and password authentication.

Users must not share their login credentials with others.

NevaSolo may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable laws.

4. Platform features

The Services may include features such as:

  • safety sessions
  • trip sharing
  • trusted contact alerts
  • emergency activation
  • incident reporting
  • location sharing during active sessions
  • media capture for evidence
  • incident coordination and status updates

Certain features may evolve as the platform develops.

We may introduce new features, modify existing features, or discontinue services from time to time.

5. Share Trip feature

NevaSolo may allow users to generate a temporary “Share Trip” link that provides limited access to an active session.

Recipients of Share Trip links may include individuals who do not have a NevaSolo account.

Share Trip links may allow recipients to view limited session information including:

  • the user’s first name
  • session status
  • location updates during the session

Share Trip links are temporary and expire when the trip ends or shortly after the destination is reached.

Users are responsible for sharing these links only with individuals they trust.

NevaSolo does not control how recipients use information accessed through a Share Trip link.

6. User responsibilities

Users agree to use the Services responsibly and lawfully.

Users must not:

  • misuse the platform for harassment or intimidation
  • track individuals without their knowledge or consent
  • upload unlawful or abusive content
  • attempt to interfere with platform security
  • impersonate another individual

Users are responsible for ensuring their use of location sharing, recordings, and other features complies with applicable laws in their jurisdiction.

7. Evidence and incident data

Where emergency or incident features are activated, the platform may capture or store evidence such as:

  • audio recordings
  • video recordings
  • photographs
  • incident notes and updates

Evidence may be visible to:

  • the user who initiated the session
  • trusted contacts selected by the user
  • authorised organisational users in enterprise environments

Evidence may be downloaded by the user or trusted contacts where access has been granted.

Evidence and incident data are generally retained for a limited operational period (approximately 90 days) before deletion unless required for legal, operational, or user-requested purposes.

8. Personal use of the platform

Personal users may use the Services to:

  • initiate safety sessions
  • share trips
  • invite trusted contacts
  • activate emergency sessions
  • capture incident evidence

Users control their own sessions and determine which trusted contacts may receive alerts.

Trusted contacts must have an account in order to participate in safety sessions or incident coordination.

Recipients of Share Trip links may view limited session information without creating an account.

Trusted contacts and Share Trip recipients are selected by the user.

NevaSolo does not control whether trusted contacts receive alerts or respond to them.

9. Enterprise use

NevaSolo may also be used by organisations such as businesses, venues, or operational teams to support incident coordination and safety communication.

Enterprise environments may include roles such as:

  • organisational administrators
  • staff users
  • security personnel
  • authorised responders

Organisations using the Services are responsible for:

  • managing their users
  • assigning appropriate roles and permissions
  • ensuring users comply with applicable policies and laws

Organisations may manage their users directly within the platform or request administrative support from NevaSolo.

Incident data within enterprise environments may be visible to authorised organisational users based on role-based permissions.

NevaSolo does not control how organisations respond to incidents or safety events.

10. Notifications

The Services rely on notifications to deliver alerts related to safety sessions and incidents.

Certain notifications are essential for the operation of safety features and may not be fully disabled without affecting the functionality of the platform.

Users are responsible for ensuring notifications are enabled on their device where required.

11. Service availability

The Services depend on mobile devices, internet connectivity, location services, and third-party infrastructure providers.

The Services are provided to assist with communication and coordination and should not be relied upon as a substitute for emergency services or professional safety services.
