Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy describes the rules and standards that apply when using the NevaSolo mobile application, website, and related services (the “Services”).

The Services are operated by Trinity Financial Management Pty Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By using the Services, you agree to comply with this Acceptable Use Policy and all applicable laws.


1. Purpose of the platform & Acceptable Use

NevaSolo is designed to support personal safety awareness and incident coordination by allowing users to share safety sessions, location information, and alerts with trusted contacts or authorised participants.

The platform is intended to be used for legitimate safety communication between individuals who know each other or who are authorised to participate in incident coordination.

Users must use the Services in a manner consistent with this purpose.


2. Lawful and responsible use

Users must use the Services in a lawful and responsible manner.

Users must not use the platform to engage in any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations.

Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of location sharing, recording features, and evidence capture complies with applicable laws in their jurisdiction.


3. Prohibited activities

Users must not use the Services to:

  • harass, threaten, or intimidate another person
  • track or monitor individuals without their knowledge or consent
  • impersonate another person or misrepresent identity
  • upload or distribute unlawful, abusive, or harmful content
  • use the platform for stalking, harassment, or unlawful surveillance
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data
  • interfere with or disrupt the operation of the platform
  • attempt to bypass security protections or exploit technical vulnerabilities
  • use the Services in connection with unlawful activity

4. Location sharing and safety sessions

Safety sessions and location sharing must only be initiated by the user who is participating in the session.

Users must not use the platform to secretly monitor other individuals.

Users are responsible for sharing location information only with individuals they trust.

Location sharing features are intended to assist with safety coordination and awareness.


5. Share Trip links

Users may generate temporary Share Trip links that allow selected individuals to view limited session information.

Users must not:

  • publicly distribute Share Trip links
  • post Share Trip links on public platforms or social media
  • share links with individuals who should not have access to the information

Share Trip links are intended to be shared only with individuals the user trusts for the purpose of a specific safety session.


6. Emergency evidence and recordings

Where users activate emergency or incident features that capture audio, video, or photographs, users must comply with applicable laws relating to recording and privacy.

Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of evidence capture features is lawful in their jurisdiction.

NevaSolo does not control how evidence features are used by individual users.


7. Trusted contacts

Trusted contacts are individuals selected by a user to receive safety alerts or participate in safety sessions.

Users should only add trusted contacts who have agreed to receive such alerts.

Trusted contacts may have access to session information and emergency evidence where permitted by the user and the platform.


8. Enterprise environments

Where NevaSolo is used by organisations, authorised organisational users may access incident information according to role-based permissions.

Examples may include:

  • centre management
  • security personnel
  • organisational administrators
  • staff associated with specific locations or tenants

Organisations are responsible for managing their users and ensuring that users comply with this Acceptable Use Policy.


9. Platform security

Users must not attempt to:

  • reverse engineer or copy the platform
  • interfere with security systems
  • overload infrastructure
  • exploit vulnerabilities or bypass platform protections

Any attempt to compromise platform security may result in account suspension or termination.


10. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations of this Acceptable Use Policy.

Where misuse occurs, we may take appropriate action including:

  • warnings
  • temporary account suspension
  • permanent account termination
  • restriction of access to certain features
  • reporting unlawful activity to relevant authorities

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time.

Material changes may be communicated through the platform or website.

Continued use of the Services may require acceptance of updated policies.
