NevaSolo provides a platform that enables users to share safety sessions, trip updates, location information, and incident alerts with selected trusted contacts or authorised participants.
The platform is designed to assist with communication, awareness, and coordination between individuals.
1. Not an emergency service
NevaSolo is not an emergency service and does not replace police, ambulance, fire, or other emergency services.
Users must contact their local emergency services where immediate assistance is required.
The platform is intended to support communication and coordination between users and individuals they trust.
2. No guarantee of safety outcomes
While NevaSolo is designed to support safety awareness and coordination, we cannot guarantee that the Services will prevent harm, emergencies, or incidents.
The platform relies on several factors including:
- mobile devices
- internet connectivity
- GPS and location services
- notification delivery
- responses from trusted contacts or organisations
These factors may affect the reliability or timeliness of alerts or information.
3. User responsibility
Users are responsible for exercising their own judgment regarding personal safety.
Users are also responsible for:
- selecting appropriate trusted contacts
- sharing session information responsibly
- contacting emergency services where required
- ensuring their device has adequate connectivity when using the Services
NevaSolo should be used as a support tool rather than a primary safety system.
4. Trusted contacts and Share Trip recipients
Trusted contacts and recipients of Share Trip links are individuals selected by the user.
These individuals may receive session alerts, location updates, and incident information while a session is active.
Trusted contacts and Share Trip recipients are not agents, employees, or representatives of NevaSolo.
We do not control whether they receive alerts, view alerts, or respond to alerts.
5. Enterprise environments
Where the platform is used by organisations, incidents and safety alerts may be visible to authorised organisational users depending on role permissions.
Examples may include:
- centre management
- security personnel
- organisational administrators
- staff associated with specific locations or tenants
NevaSolo provides the communication platform but does not control how organisations respond to incidents or safety events.
Organisations are responsible for managing their own operational procedures and responses.
6. Technology limitations
The platform depends on multiple technical systems including:
- mobile device hardware
- location services
- internet connectivity
- push notification services
- third-party infrastructure providers
Interruptions, delays, or inaccuracies may occur due to technical limitations or service disruptions.
7. Evidence capture
During an emergency session or incident, the platform may capture or store evidence such as audio recordings, video recordings, photographs, or incident notes.
These features are activated only when a user initiates an emergency or incident session.
Users are responsible for ensuring their use of recording or evidence features complies with applicable laws in their jurisdiction.
8. Appropriate use
NevaSolo is designed to assist users in sharing safety information with trusted contacts or authorised participants.
The platform must not be used for unlawful purposes including:
- harassment or intimidation
- unlawful surveillance
- stalking or tracking individuals without consent
- impersonation or deceptive activity
Users must comply with applicable laws when using the Services.
9. Limitation of reliance
The Services are intended to assist with coordination and communication.
Users acknowledge that the platform should not be relied upon as a substitute for emergency services, professional safety services, or personal judgment.
