Awareness without escalation
Safety Mode is for moments when you don’t need an emergency response, but you want someone aware.
It’s calm, intentional, and non-intrusive.
No alarms.
No recording.
No escalation unless you choose it.
What Safety Mode is for
Safety Mode is designed for everyday situations where awareness helps:
- walking home at night
- meeting someone new
- travelling alone
- working late
- feeling uncertain but not in danger
- wanting someone to know where you are, just in case
It’s about presence, not panic.
How Safety Mode works
Start a Safety Session
When you activate Safety Mode, you begin a temporary safety session.
You choose:
- when it starts
- who can see it
- when it ends
Nothing runs unless you start it.
Share live awareness
While Safety Mode is active, trusted contacts can see:
- your live location
- your session status
They can check in if needed, but there is no escalation and no alerting by default.
No recording in Safety Mode
Safety Mode does not capture:
- audio
- video
- photos
There is no evidence recording in this mode.
If the situation changes, you can switch to Emergency Mode at any time.
End the session when you’re ready
When you end Safety Mode:
- live location sharing stops
- session visibility ends
- nothing continues in the background
There is no silent tracking and no lingering session.
Why Safety Mode exists
Most safety tools force a choice between:
- doing nothing
- triggering an emergency
Safety Mode gives you a third option.
It allows:
- quiet awareness
- shared context
- peace of mind
without turning normal life into something that feels monitored.
Privacy by design
Safety Mode follows the same principles as the rest of NevaSolo:
- No always-on tracking
- No background monitoring
- No passive data collection
- No sharing outside active sessions
Everything is user-initiated and temporary. See our privacy policy here.
If something changes
If a situation escalates:
- you can switch to Emergency Mode instantly
- trusted contacts gain clearer visibility
- evidence capture may begin only in Emergency Mode
You stay in control at every step.
One simple idea
Safety Mode is not about fear.
It’s about awareness.
It lets the people you trust stay connected, without turning the moment into an emergency.
