Clear escalation when something is wrong
Emergency Mode is for moments when something isn’t right and you need immediate awareness, not guesswork.
It creates a clear signal.
It shares what matters.
And it captures context while the situation is unfolding.
When to use Emergency Mode
Emergency Mode is designed for situations where awareness needs to escalate quickly:
- you feel unsafe
- something unexpected is happening
- you need trusted contacts to pay attention now
- you want context captured in case help is needed later
It’s not about panic.
It’s about clarity.
How Emergency Mode works
1. Start Emergency Mode
When you activate Emergency Mode, a safety emergency begins immediately.
Your trusted contacts are notified and can see:
- your status
- your live location
There’s no delay and no ambiguity.
2. Live awareness during the emergency
While Emergency Mode is active, trusted contacts can:
- follow your live location
- see that an emergency is in progress
- understand that attention is required
This helps them make faster, better decisions.
3. Evidence is captured during the emergency
While Emergency Mode is active, NevaSolo may capture:
- audio
- video
- photos
This happens only during the emergency.
Why this matters:
- it provides real-world context
- it reduces reliance on memory during stressful moments
- it can help explain what happened later
Evidence capture is designed to be supportive, not intrusive.
4. Trusted contacts see what matters
During an emergency, trusted contacts can:
- see your live location
- view emergency evidence as it becomes available
- understand the situation more clearly
They don’t see:
- anything outside the emergency
- past sessions unrelated to the situation
- information you didn’t explicitly share
Focus stays on the moment at hand.
5. Switch or end when the situation changes
If the situation improves:
- you can end Emergency Mode at any time
When you do:
- live sharing stops
- no new evidence is captured
- the emergency concludes cleanly
There is no silent continuation and no background recording.
Privacy built into Emergency Mode
Even in Emergency Mode, NevaSolo follows strict boundaries:
- No always-on recording
- No background capture outside emergencies
- No sharing beyond trusted contacts
- No data collection once the emergency ends
Everything is session-based and user-initiated.
After the emergency
After an emergency ends:
- trusted contacts may retain limited access for a short period
- evidence is stored for a limited time
- users can request access to their own emergency records if needed
This supports follow-up without creating ongoing tracking.
Emergency Mode is not emergency services
NevaSolo does not replace police, medical, or emergency services.
It is a tool to:
- increase awareness
- share context
- support better decisions
If you are in immediate danger, always contact local emergency services.
One clear purpose
Emergency Mode exists to remove uncertainty when something is wrong.
It helps the people you trust:
- understand what’s happening
- respond appropriately
- support you when it matters most
And it ends when the moment is over.
