How NevaSolo works (step by step)
1. Choose your safety mode
When something matters, you start a session.
There are different modes depending on the situation.
Safety Mode
Let trusted contacts know you may need awareness or support, without escalating to an emergency.
Emergency Mode
For situations where something is wrong and immediate awareness is needed.
Share Trip
Share a temporary journey using a secure link. The person you share with doesn’t need the app.
All modes are temporary and user-controlled.
2. Stay connected during the session
While a session is active, NevaSolo can share:
- your live location
- session status
- relevant updates
Only the people you choose can see this, and only while the session is active.
There is no background tracking outside of sessions.
3. Evidence is captured only in emergencies
If you activate Emergency Mode, NevaSolo may capture:
- audio
- video
- photos
This happens only while the emergency is active.
Why this matters:
- it provides context for trusted contacts
- it creates a record if help is needed later
- it removes reliance on memory during stressful events
Evidence is shared only with trusted contacts and retained for a limited period.
4. Trusted contacts see what matters
Your trusted contacts can:
- see your status
- follow your location during the session
- view emergency evidence if an emergency is active
They don’t see:
- your location outside sessions
- past sessions unless relevant
- anything you didn’t explicitly share
This keeps attention focused and decisions clear.
5. Everything ends when the moment ends
When you end a session:
- live sharing stops
- location updates stop
- no new evidence is captured
There’s no silent continuation and no lingering tracking.
