What Share Trip is for
Share Trip is designed for everyday coordination, not safety escalation.
People use it for:
- a delivery driver showing arrival time
- a tradie on the way to a client
- a real estate agent heading to an open home
- an interviewee travelling to an office
- meeting a friend for coffee
- letting someone know you’re on the way
It replaces messages like:
“I’m leaving now”
“I’m 10 minutes away”

How Share Trip works
1. Start your trip
When you start Share Trip, NevaSolo creates a temporary trip session.
You decide:
- when it starts
- when it ends
Nothing is shared unless you start it.
2. Share a secure link
You send a secure link to the person you’re meeting.
They:
- don’t need the app (unlike the more private Drive Home mode)
- don’t need an account
- can see your live progress while the trip is active
The link works only for the duration of the trip.
3. Live arrival visibility
While the trip is active, the person you shared with can see:
- where you are along the route
- how far away you are
- when you’re getting close
This removes uncertainty and awkward waiting.
4. The trip ends when you arrive
When you arrive or end the trip:
- the link stops working
- live location sharing ends
- nothing continues in the background
There’s no lingering access and no ongoing tracking.
No recording in Share Trip
Share Trip does not capture:
- audio
- video
- photos
It’s purely about showing travel progress, nothing more.
If a situation changes during a trip, you can switch to Emergency Mode at any time.

Share Trip follows the same principles as all NevaSolo features:
- No always-on tracking
